Bjorn has had the opportunity to teach in a number of different schools and settings, ranging from one on one private lessons to 230 member marching band ensembles. 

Bjorn's teaching experience includes working as Assistant Director of the University of Utah Athletic Bands, low brass instructor at Weber State University and Salt Lake Community College, as a private lesson teacher with the Clear Creek Amana School District (IA), teaching lessons across multiple instruments and age levels, and as a mentor with the Utah Youth Orchestras.

Examples of student success includes acceptance to the Southeast Trombone Symposium, contracts with Battalion and Troopers Drum Corps, and musical scholarships for the University of Southern Utah.
